You Pay WHAT!

You Pay WHAT!

GIVEAWAY! I will pick a winner June 17th for a FREE hoodie off my website and all you have to do is answer one of the questions at the bottom in the comments. Good luck!

Ok, here's the deal, I like TV. For the most part, I'm a homebody and I love to just be able to sit and chill after the kids go to bed or on Sunday afternoons. Bonus if there's wine. Duh.

A few years ago, I got the bill for our satellite tv service and when I was writing the check for it I realized that I couldn't remember the last time we actually watched it. Mind you, the bill was over $100 maybe closer to $150 and it was right about then that I decided to dump satellite.  At the time we had Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. I then ordered a digital antenna from Amazon like this. With the antenna, we get about 17 channels on a good day for "local" tv (ABC, CBS, PBS, PBS kids, NBC etc.) The best ones for us are Ion (crime type shows Blue Bloods, etc all the time and PBS kids, which is tits if the internet is out because my kids love the shows on there.)

Fast forward to now and this what we pay for and use:

Netflix $19 a month (we have the biggest plan for them, because we have it on a TV at the ranch, plus our house and the iPad to download for traveling. The most basic plan with them is around $7 a month.)

Disney+, ESPN and Hulu... are INCLUDED if you have a Verizon Unlimited plan. Ya, I just said that. You log in to your Verizon account, click Services & Perks and under Apps and Add-ons you just follow the prompts and that's all. Boom! Worth $13.99 I think.

We live in the ghetto...just kidding, kinda. So I pay for Amazon Prime which means we get their streaming service on the TV's in our house and iPad. I don't really count this as paying for any kind of streaming device because I use it primarily for shipping 7 million things to our house, but we do watch tv on here a lot.

Lastly, we just recently added AppleTV to the mix and it is so good! $6.99 a month. WORTH IT!

Ok, so we pay about $27 a month for TV. Less than $30...we have the streaming services on both house TV's, a ranch TV, and my iPad and the local tv channels on our main TV in the living room.  What I want to know is...How much do you pay for TV a month orrrrr what are you watching right now?

We are a streaming household! Satellite tv was just too much money! We pay around $30 a month is all! I’m currently obsessed with The Good Doctor.

I use YouTube tv (courtesy of my mom 😉) ESPN +, and Amazon prime! We just finished watching suits, but the cooking Channel is usually playing the current seasons baking championship!

We are a Netflix and Prime family. Can’t believe “Call the Midwife” didn’t make the list!

ESPN+ to watch Bobcat football and Lady Cats basketball

Love that Verizon has that option and have definitely maximized on it! Since we use Roku there’s quite a few free options we can get through that so we downloaded PBS kids and it is so handy! My 5 year old loves Word World 🌎 We are pretty much always watching Bobs Burgers (Hulu) as a wind down easy watching show and I recently watched Stronger on Netflix (very good but a pretty emotional watch)
